I have been researching on small-legged robots under Dr. Konstantinos Karydis in the Autonomous Robots and Control Systems Lab since my third-year at UCR.
The primary robot platform is called the Passive Sprawling Robot (PSR). I am integrating the robot's software on the BeagleBone Blue with the Robot Operating System and designing custom printed circuit boards (PCB) with AutoDesk Eagle.
I have been awarded a $500 UCR Undergraduate Research Mini-Grant to subsidize costs to create a multi-agent systems with this robot platform.
